The steps below show how to install IPVanish VPN on Android phones and tablets.
As mentioned previously, you will need to first create a Google account to access the Play Store if you haven’t already.

In the guide below, we are using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.
However, these instructions will also work for any variation of Android phones or tablets.
1. Register for IPVanish VPN if you don’t have an account – CLICK HERE for discount
2. Launch the Google Play Store. Search for and select IPVanish VPN: The Fastest VPN.
3. Click Install.
4. Wait a few seconds for the IPVanish app to install.
5. Click Open.
6. Enter your IPVanish username and password and click Login. You will receive login credentials in your confirmation email after registering.
7. Click Skip when this screen appears.
8. Prior to connecting you can adjust your preferred country, city, and server. Click CONNECT once you have set these to your preference.
9. Click OK when prompted with this Connection request screen.

Follow the screenshot tutorials below on how to install IPVanish VPN on your Android TV Box. We have provided installation guides for both the Google Play Store and our Rapid App Installer.
1. On the home screen of your Android TV Box, select the Google Play Store icon.
Note: You will need to create a free Google Account if you don’t already have one so you are able to download apps from the Google Play Store.
2. After launching the Google Play Store click the search box on the top of your screen.
3. Type “ipvanish” in the search bar.
4. Then click Install.
5. Wait a few seconds for the IPVanish VPN application to install.
6. Once IPVanish VPN has installed on your Android TV Box, return to the home screen and select Applications towards the bottom.
7. Locate IPVanish VPN within your Applications and click the icon to launch.
8. Next login to IPVanish with your registered username and password.
9. When logging in for the first time on your device you will be prompted with a tutorial message. Feel free to view the tutorial, but we just chose Skip.
10. You will then be redirected to the IPVanish VPN interface. Select Quick Connect.
11. To connect your VPN simply click the CONNECT button.
You will also notice the three options below CONNECT. I suggest leaving those options to default, as this will ensure you are connected to the fastest IPVanish server near your location.
12. When this message appears click OK.
13. That’s it! You have successfully installed IPVanish VPN on your Android TV Box. Notice where it says “Connected” within the Connection Status row.
14. Feel free to explore the different Server Lists within the IPVanish app. Just keep in mind we suggest using the default best available server option for optimal performance.
15. To view account information simply select the Account option on the left menu.
This will provide you with account status, renewal date, and an external link to your customer dashboard on the IPVanish website.
16. Regarding the Settings option, under General tab, I suggest checking the “Start IPVanish” box and leaving everything else as is.
17. Within the Connection tab, I suggest leaving everything as is. The OpenVPN (UDP) protocol is the faster of the two listed.
18. You will also find a menu option for Support if you need any technical support from IPVanish.
19. We recommend verifying your new IP address and server location by going to DNS Leak Test where your new details will be displayed.
20. If you are looking for a quick way to launch IPVanish VPN from your home screen, I suggest going back to your home screen and click the big plus box (+) under Collections.
This will create a collection of apps on your device’s home screen making it easier to find your favorite applications
21. Hover over and check the apps you want to be added to your new collection. For this example, we chose IPVanish VPN, Downloader, and the TROYPOINT App.
22. That’s it! Return to the home screen of your Android TV Box and you will notice your selected apps now in a Collection.
Rapid App Installer Method
1. First, you will need to sign up for the Rapid App Installer if you haven’t already
2. Once you have the Rapid App Installer on your device, launch the TROYPOINT App.
3. Click OK when prompted with this message.
4. On the home screen of the TROYPOINT App select Rapid App Installer.
