BuzzTV X5 Android TV Box – Future-Proof Streaming Device

The BuzzTV X5 Android TV Box will be released on May 19th.

I’m extremely excited about this new device due to their outstanding XRS 4900 that I reviewed in the past.

BuzzTV is known for their Android TV Boxes that cater to those of us who use IPTV services. These devices come with a dedicated IPTV application and remote control that is specifically built for that app. These streaming devices also work great with side-loaded applications such as Kodi, Syncler, etc.

Once I receive this new Android TV Box, I will write and in-depth unbiased review which will be available on this page.

BuzzTV X5 Android TV Box – What We Know

It appears that there will be two iterations of the BuzzTV X5 with both being enclosed in an aluminum case.

The 64AI will include 64GB of eMMC internal storage and the 128AI will include 128GB or eMMC storage.

It includes future-proof features such as AV1 codec, Android 11, large internal storage, plenty of RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, and dual-band WiFi support.

The system will come with a Bluetooth BT-400 Smart Remote with Smart Remote App. The included app probably allows us to customize some of the buttons on the remote.

I’m curious to learn exactly what “All-in-One media access solution” means.
